THE BOX OFFICE
This is where you can meet privately with the Balladeer! The Balladeer is almost always around during the day; just knock.
(Secretly, the door's usually not locked if he's inside. But you wouldn't want to be rude, would you?)

RE: WEEK 2 MOTIVE
Management,
If today's show was some kind of test, it was one in poor taste. I do hope my rewards will not follow this trend or I may begin to question the nature of our arrangement. I realize placing suspicion on me so early can ease suspicion off of me down the line, but cutting it close like this is more exciting than what I envisioned.
I can't help you all if you don't help me, but I trust your judgement and hope to see an improvement soon.
Still yours,
- HRH Hans Westergaard

No, it'll just be waiting on his vanity the next time he returns to his room, stuck at a jaunty angle in the thin space between the mirror and its metal frame.]
HRH Hans Westergaard -
Making announcements is the Balladeer's job. The exact phrasing he uses isn't my problem. What good are you gonna be to me if you can't handle a little setback?
That being said, this was in the works from the beginning. You just made the wrong comment at the wrong time. I'll let him know, and he'll get guilty and fix this right up for you all by himself. He's handy like that.

At least they addressed him properly but, ugh. Management. ]

HRH Hans Westergaard -
Congratulations on surviving a whole month! I thought I'd get you something a little special to celebrate. It's just a bit of arsenic, but you aren't gonna find poison this good anywhere else in here. Kill someone with that, and they'll all chase their own tails over where it came from for so long that you could get away just fine!
You might have money now, but do you really think that's gonna last? You and I both know you were on thin ice with your family even before you screwed up that whole Arendelle thing. Princes who don't succeed are no good to anyone. But hey, you had some pretty good ideas - and there's a whole lot of other kingdoms out there. You just need the means to strike out alone.
Hope to hear from you soon.
- Management
P.S. If you aren't gonna use it, leave it out for someone else to find. There's other people with ambition here.
no subject
well, more like, Hans knows what happens to killers here and he's more of a one-off kill guy than a 16-people kill guy so. You know what, whatever. He's feeling lucky. He could keep something like this, but he has to follow orders too. ]
Management,
I appreciate the offer but I'd rather assist than get my hands dirty personally. I can't get anything done at home if I'm dead, so I'll take my chances leaving the murder to someone else. That being said, to show my appreciation for your continued trust in me, I have gathered information on people I hope you'll find interesting.
You're aiming for drama, right? What's more dramatic than lost love? Billy and Anna have some feelings between each other that I feel could make a great spectacle. I doubt Anna can survive another heartbreak. Additionally, I'm sure you've noticed Billy and Hook have started to go at each other's throats since the last investigation. If one of them goes down, they'd be each other's biggest suspect.
I hope this is helpful to you, let me know if you want to hear any more on anyone else. Despite Anna ousting me, I seem to have enough clout that most of the other cast members still trust me so it hasn't been hard to get them talking.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
P.S. I've left the bottle somewhere easy enough to find. Now that we have a bakery as well as a kitchen, I'm sure it shouldn't take long for someone to find some use for it.
no subject
Suit yourself. Someone'll try for the win.
I've been noticing that the Balladeer's spending more time with the cast. How's that been going?
- Management
no subject
We'll see how it goes for them.
As for the Balladeer, it certainly seems like the rest of the cast really trusts him. His charisma has easily won over more than half the cast to be sympathetic towards him. He might even know more about a lot of them than I do, at least when it comes to the people who think they're too good to trust me.
[ He obviously means Anna. And Anna's friends. ]
You'd probably do best to ask him, in any case.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
Oh, I have. But he's not gonna tell me if he starts crossing any more lines.
Keep an eye on him.
- Management
no subject
Sounds like there's some tension between you two. Understood, though. I'll keep you updated.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
Does your cast really think I won't notice you all disappearing into foggy rooms every couple of days?
- Management
no subject
Funny you should mention that. I think Billy Harris started doing that, but if he thought you wouldn't catch on, he's a lot dumber than he looks. Speaking of this particular Billy, he suspects there is a mole and has been sniffing around for information for a long time now.
I've been working with him to keep suspicion off of me, but I've found misdirection works better than outright lies. Let me know if there's any information you'd like me to bring anything to his attention and send him looking elsewhere.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
Misdirection is pretty useful, isn't it? What else have you all been discussing in there?
- Management
no subject
Management,
Everyone is trading information, but it's nothing you wouldn't already know. The cast seems to think the tuning fork was some kind of clue as to who the mole is, which is adorable. There's also talk about having a sleepover on Thursday night to try and keep someone from murdering someone, so if you have any way to prevent that, I'd let the Balladeer know.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
That's cute. It's not gonna help.
Do you think you're in danger? It'd be easy enough to make one of the others look like the mole.
- Management
no subject
They think they can try, so I'm not about to tell them otherwise. Watching them come together only to fail is kind of amusing
Surprisingly, they've been fairly civil about the discussion so far so I don't think I'm in any danger yet. There's nothing that ties me to the so-called tuning fork or moving Eliza's body, but if you want to cast suspicion on anyone else, feel free.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
Don't you worry. I'll take care of it.
Anything else going on down there you want to tell me about? There's been a lot of secret meeting time just for that.
- Management
no subject
Thanks.
Besides the smoke machines and the sleepovers? Well, people are also talking about going places in pairs, but I doubt that'll be much more successful. And of course everyone is worried about the Balladeer since he keeps being so nice and accommodating to the cast. But I doubt he's actually broken any rules by making people care about him.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
P.S. If you're going to pin the mole idea on anyone, I would go with Winslow, or perhaps Billy Flynn, though he's pretty unflappable. Much as I'd like to have it pinned or Anna or Billy, no one would believe that either of them could lie for this long, this well.
no subject
Interesting. I'll keep that in mind.
Since you've been so helpful, here's a little tip. Figure out where you wanna be by Tuesday morning.
- Management
no subject
Thanks for the heads up. Are you planning something special for the motive announcement this week?
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
Yeah, I think I'll cook up a little something. I'll follow up with you on that tomorrow.
- Management
LOL LET'S PRETEND I ACTUALLY DID THIS ON TUESDAY
HRH Hans Westergaard -
Don't worry about killing someone. We'll see who really takes the bait and frame them or the victim as mole. The dead can't defend themselves too easy.
- Management

Management,
Thanks for the save. Are we seriously going to be in trouble for sleeping outside our rooms like this? I would have brought a blanket if I'd known.
- HRH Hans Westergaard
no subject
I'll give you a pass if you need. Just don't do it in front of the others.
- Management
no subject
Thanks. That'll help.
What happens if we fall asleep outside our rooms, exactly? I'll need to know if anyone asks.
